Juliana (They/Them)

Investigaytors Research Coordinator

Drawing from their background in research, art and organizing, Juliana’s focus is to support affirmative and community-driven spaces of care for queer and trans folks — particularly queer and trans people of colour. They are also passionate about accessibility in nature, contributing to citizen science and community-engaged conservation projects. Juliana's undergrad thesis explored communication in Eurasian Red Squirrels, while their community research projects have focused on trans mental health, trans kinship, and queer joy.

To fill up their cup, you will find Juliana birdwatching with their friends and chosen family, catching (and releasing!) butterflies for identification, watching queer media (especially animated shows), or strumming their guitar to their cats.
